U.S. Bitcoin ETFs Face Huge $541 Million Outflow, Ethereum Declines

The U.S. Spot Bitcoin Exchange-Traded Funds saw a $541.1 million outflow on Monday, marking their second outflow in history. The highest single-day net outflow was $563 million on May 2. Ethereum spot ETF had a total net outflow of $63.2238 million yesterday.  

Recently, Bitcoin ETFs made their most significant weekly inflows in history in October last week, with $2.22 million. However, Bitcoin ETF investor interest was low in the first week of November due to the U.S. election. According to Sosovalue, Bitcoin ETF investors had $541.1 million withdrawn on November 4, making the second withdrawal in history.

Eight Bitcoin ETFs had net outflows on Monday. Fidelity FBTC led the net outflows with $169.6 million, while Bitwise BITB experienced a $79.8 net outflow. Ark and 21Shares’ ARKB logged a $138.3 million net outflow. Grayscale BTC and VanEck HODL also saw net outflows, with $89.5 and $15.3 million, respectively.

Blackrock (shares) IBIT, the largest spot bitcoin Exchange Trade Fund by net assets, only saw a net inflow on Monday. iShares experienced a $38.4 million net inflow. Bitcoin Exchange Trade Funds’ Total Value Traded was $2.22 billion on November 4, compared to $3.09 billion on Friday. 

U.S Spot Ethereum ETF Sees largest outflow

On Monday, spot Ether Exchange Trade Funds experienced net outflows, with $63.22 million withdrawn from the funds. This was the biggest single-day outflow since September 23.

Most of the withdrawals came from Fidelity’s FETH and Grayscale’s Mini Ethereum Trust, each losing over $31 million. Grayscale’s ETHE fund also had $10.8 million pulled out. BlackRock’s ETHE was the only net inflow on Monday, reaching $11 million.

The nine-spot Ethereum Exchange Trade Funds’ trading volume decreased to $149.11 million on Monday from $169.11 million on Friday. Their cumulative net outflows stood at $554.66 million.
