# The terms this log is read under

Updated: 24 September 2026 — Session Log staff

Session Log is a record of reading. Fee schedules, terms of use, margin ladders and audit reports on
one side; our own readings of public order books on the other. It is published so that a trader can
see what a session costs before committing to one, and for nothing beyond that. Nothing on this
domain is investment, legal or tax advice, an offer to buy or sell anything, or a recommendation to
open a position, to trade at all, or to deal with any venue written up here.

## What these terms sit beside

- [Who keeps this log](https://coinlen.com/about) — who writes here, how each kind of figure is made, and where the readings stop
- [How we rate](https://coinlen.com/how-we-rate) — what each of the six criteria measures, and why the weights were settled before anything was read
- [The standings](https://coinlen.com/best-platform-for-day-trading-crypto) — the desk in one table, every figure beside the day it was taken

## What a leveraged perpetual can take

Every contract discussed on this site is a perpetual future bought on margin. What sits behind a
position is the ceiling on what that position can cost you, and losing the lot is an ordinary way
for a session to end rather than a remote one. The widest multiples printed on this desk put
liquidation a fraction of one percent of price away from the entry, and a venue closes the
position there without asking and without waiting for an answer. Funding is charged for
as long as the position is open, the taker fee is paid on entry and again on exit, and a fill can
land well away from the price on screen.

None of that is an argument for trading or against it. It is what the instrument is, and it is
the reason every venue on these pages is described by what it costs rather than by what it
promises.

## A figure here is a reading, not a live number

Everything printed on this site carries the day it was taken, and the day is part of the figure.
Fees, market counts, leverage ladders, settlement mechanics, sign-in rules, restricted lists and
audit records were read from each venue's own documentation and terms on 18 September 2026.
Open interest and 24-hour volume belong to each venue and reach this page through CoinMarketCap's
derivatives ranking as it stood on 22 September 2026. What a book holds, how wide it sits and what an
exit costs against it — depth, spread and price impact — are the desk's own, read off public order
books six times an hour until the log closed on 22 September 2026 and printed as medians.

Venues change all of it without notice and without telling us. A number here is right as of the
date beside it, not on the day you happen to open the page, so confirm anything you intend to act
on against the venue's own page first. Where a venue's marketing copy and its terms disagree, the
terms are what we report.

## Who paid for these entries

Read this log knowing who paid for it. The entries on this domain were commissioned and paid for,
and a venue described in one may have paid for the publication.

A payment buys publication and nothing after it. The six criteria, the weight each carries and
the range from nothing to 25 were settled on 22 September 2026, before a single
venue on the desk had been read against them, and they are set out in words on
[how we rate](/how-we-rate).
Every total is arithmetic on figures printed in the same entry, a page condition decides which
venues appear and never what a criterion is worth, every venue carries at least two documented
drawbacks taken from its own documents or the public record, and no venue is marked out with a
badge, a colour or a row of its own.

## This log is not a party to your trading

Reading the site makes nobody a client of it. We hold no money, route no orders, open no
accounts, and take no part in a deposit, a fill, a liquidation or a withdrawal. We cannot restore
an account, reverse a trade, release a balance or stand between a trader and a venue in a
dispute.

The relationship runs the other way too. A venue named on these pages is not the reader's client
and not the reader's counterparty through us, and it is not ours to speak for. The only agreement
that binds anyone trading is the one that venue publishes, accepted on that venue and enforceable
against it alone. An entry here is a reading of that agreement, never a substitute for it.

## Where a venue will and will not deal

Whether a venue will accept you at all is decided by its terms and by the rules of the place you
are in, and by nothing printed here. Each venue on the desk excludes sanctioned persons; most
publish a further list of places they do not serve, and those lists are revised without warning.

What we do is report what a venue publishes about access. What we do not do is help anyone around
it. Your own position — residency, tax, whatever reporting applies to you — is yours to check
before you deposit, and a wallet signature at sign-in is not a finding that a venue is open to
you.

## Quoting, names and corrections

Every venue name, wordmark and trademark printed here stays the property of whoever owns it, and
printing one claims no tie in either direction. Quote these pages freely with a link to the entry
you took the words from.

The log is compiled with care and comes with no warranty that it is accurate or complete; use of
the site is at your own risk. If a figure disagrees with the source named beside it, send the
address of the entry and a link showing the other value to editorial@coinlen.com. What
we can verify against the venue's own documents is read again and reopened under the date of that
session. A date never moves on its own.

Corrections: editorial@coinlen.com.
