These illegitimate tokens were primarily found on the Solana and Base blockchains, posing a significant threat to unsuspecting investors.
Through its official social media channels, Floki Inu’s X account urged its followers to be cautious and get the correct token information from official sources. It stressed that the original FLOKI token can function only in the BNB Smart Chain and Ethereum networks. To help users distinguish between genuine and counterfeit coins, Floki Inu mentioned the correct contract addresses for Ethereum “0xcf0c122c6b73ff809c693db761e7baebe62b6a2e” and BNB Smart Chain “0xfb5b838b6cfeedc2873ab27866079ac55363d37e”.
